This model is limited to 4,000 pieces worldwide and is a recreation of the Navigator Timer launched in Japan in 1968. The Navigator Timer was a pioneer in the realm of sports-type GMT models, being the first mechanical GMT watch with a rotating bezel. This modern redux is powered by the new in-house 6R54 Calibre movement, the first mechanical GMT movement for Seiko Prospex with a three-day power reserve.The case size and case back layout mimics the look of its original inspiration, whilst the super hard coating gives scratch resistance with a long-lasting shine. The GMT function allows the wearer to conveniently track two different time zones at the same time. Prospex is a combination of the words Professional and Specifications. Seiko Prospex timepieces are designed to be practical, reliable and durable; to meet the high standards required in extreme environments for sports lovers and adventure seekers alike.
